World’s First Hi-tech Aircraft

This is possibly the best thriller I have come across in recent times. I mean, imagine the kind of stuff that makes up this little book written in (hold your breath), Sanskrit!

Indeed the book Vaimanika Shastra written in Sanskrit during the Vedic times has astounding information about how they built airplanes and how they fought wars using aviation techniques. These airplanes did all kinds of things that we are only talking about now.

They camoflaged, they expanded, they shrunk, they hid, they paralyzed the enemy, they morphed, they confused and comatised their enemies with amazing techniques that seem even today like sci-fi! Biological, psychological and atomic warfare at its best!

According to historian Knapp, the Vaimanika Shastra describes in detail, the construction of what is called, the mercury vortex engine the forerunner of the ion engines being made today by NASA.

Aircrafts with advanced knowledge of metallurgy comprising of cold and heat-proof glass and metals, light or heavy to suit the context, the ability to harness the energy, applied geometry, and material science all melt in this amazing cauldron of scientific treatise. Frequency interception techniques that allow to tap enemy communication, obtain a television view of things inside an enemy plane and an ”early warning radar (concept used in 1935 in worldwar 2) are featured in this book as a matter of fact.

With the kind of technology they speak here, (atomic annihilation, poison fumes, to destroy the enemies) I am not surprised the civilization vanished without a trace!

In 1979 a book by David W. Davenport, an Englishman born in India, was published in Italy. Its title was 2000 AC Diztruzione Atomica, Atomic Destruction 2000. BC. Davenport claimed to have proof that Mohenjo Daro, one of the oldest cities in the history of human civilization, had been destroyed by an atomic bomb.

This is really interessting. At first it seemed like pure imagination but there are quite a few parallels with modern technology that seem convincing. Will read up more on it…

    Hi sanju,

Perhaps a more interesting take off on this is the fact that Dr. Talpade, a Sanskrit scholar designed the world’s first aircraft eight years before the Wright brothers.

“In 1895, full eight years before the Wright Brothers` first flight at Kitty hawk, North Carolina, USA, Shivkar Bapuji Talpade and his wife gave a thrilling demonstration flight on the Chowpatty beach in Mumbai.

An even more astonishing feature of Talpade’s aircraft was the power source he used- An Ion Engine. The theory of the Ion Engine has been credited to Robert Goddard, long recognized as the father of Liquid-fuel Rocketry.

It is claimed that in 1906, long before Goddard launched his first modern rocket, his imagination had conceived the idea of an Ion rocket. But the fact is that not only had the idea of an Ion Engine been conceived long before Dr Goddard, it had also been materialized in the form of Talpade’s aircraft”.

I started with Vimanas and ended with UFOs. Not just in India, but in other historic places too, there have been evidence of ancient aircraft.

It seems governments have this technology, are keeping it secret, and their planes are occasionally spotted as UFOs. Spooky.

[…] “Sailing on light is the only technology that can someday take us to the stars.” according to Louis Friedman, director of the Planetary Society, the worldwide organization of space enthusiasts. Nanomaya had already posted a story how during some 2000 years ago the world’s first Hi-tech Aircraft, a starship that could refuel itself from the sun’s energy is mentioned in the “Vimana Shastra”.
